Founder and CEO

Kevin MorganKevin Morgan

Kevin started his career in sales with Waste Management Inc. Based on his passion for industrial services and recycling he founded waste company Effective Waste Management. After selling his business in 1999 he turned his attention to building a scrap metal company, K&K Recycling Services. K&K is a state-of-the-art national scrap metal collection, recycling and processing company headquartered in Pickering, Ontario. Kevin also proudly resides in Pickering with his wife and three children. Kevin graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA in Administration and Commercial Studies.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

John DruceJohn Druce

As one of the longest serving employees of K&K, John has worked side by side with Founder Kevin Morgan to build K&K into the company that it is today. John is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company as well as large industrial account purchasing. John graduated with a BPHE from the University of Toronto.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Laura RandallLaura Randall

Laura has been with K&K since 2009, overseeing all accounting, finance and insurance functions. Laura has been instrumental in the implementation of new policies, procedures and controls. With over 20 years experience in accounting and finance, Laura has worked in the metal industry for over 24 years. Laura began her career at a reinforcing steel company where she worked for over 14 years followed by a brass forging company for over 10 years before joining K&K. Laura graduated with an Accounting Diploma from Durham College/UOIT and has a Commerce degree from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.

Scott SawyerScott Sawyer

Scott has been with K&K since 2003, overseeing the market expansion of K&K into the U.S. and Western Canadian markets. Scott began his career as a buyer for K&K and has grown with the company during the past seven years. He is responsible for key account relationships including large industrial accounts. He also manages and develops new sales talent throughout the organization.
